Should We Judge Our Emotions?

I grew up learning to judge my emotions… Maybe you did too?

Some were good.

Some were bad.

Some holy.

Some sinful.

My emotions said something about me as a person. And as a christian, if they weren’t the ‘right’ kind of emotions then it meant something wasn’t quite ‘right’ with me.

The Farm

We’re driving down their road now. Anticipation builds in my chest as I pull against my seatbelt to see just a bit further. Soon the backwoods come into view and I know it’s just a moment, just a breath, until I see it, Nana & Papa’s Farm.
